What Is Vue(V)?

Vue Protocol aims to build the decentrailzed social layer with restaking and the pooled security from EigenLayer, leverage The Open Network (TON)'s exceptional performance and community-driven development to enhance itself, and also tap into the Optimism ecosystem that will contribute to Vue Protocol's scalability by enabling faster and more cost-effective transactions. Unlike other social graph projects, which mainly focus on on-chain activities and NFT assets, the Vue protocol will primarily focus on the friend data recorded by social tokens to ultimately build a universally accessible social layer for Web3 natives.  

What Problem Vue Solves?

In Web2.0, all the user data is stored and controlled by technical giants like Twitter and Facebook. The following are some scenarios you will face with the social graph in Web2.0:

• If you are a user, you don't have control over your own social graph, which could be changed, manipulated and sold by the above technical giants.
• If you are a new site that needs the social graph to provide a fun & useful feature (e.g. where are your friends traveling and when?), then you need to have the usernames, passwords (or hopefully you use OpenID instead), a way to invite friends, add/remove friends, and the list goes on. Your users, however, are getting sick of registering and re-declaring their friends on every Web2.0 site.
• All the social graphs are constrained in all sorts of Web 2.0 Apps, which leads to the isolated social graphs for each social application  

How Does Vue Work?

Vue Protocol will provide the Web3.0 natives and communities with a simple, low-cost, one-stop Social Token issuance platform, namely the Vue Issuance Platform. This will enable any user to create their own Social Token within a few minutes, even those without any background in Smart Contract programming knowledge. Users can customize Social Token's Name, Symbol, Total Quantity, Lockup Period and other basic information according to the Vue Issuance Platform. They can also provide basic tools such as community address management, airdrop distribution, whitelist management, Token Sale template, etc. to allow the issuance of Social Token to become customized, simplified ,and low-cost. Vue Protocol also supports users to easily issue the non-fungible tokens in ERC-721 or ERC-1155 as a special way to manage their fans or communities. 

VUE Utility?

The VUE token will facilitate the inner workings of Vue Protocol, and serve as both a governance token and a utility token with the following (but not limited to) functions:

• Governance: VUE holders participate in governance decisions, shaping Vue Protocol's future direction and policies through decentralized voting.
• Gas Fee: VUE tokens are used to cover the associated gas fees and ensure Vue remains operational, creating a sustainable value flywheel.
• Access to Vue: VUE acts as the gas token for VueChain, granting holders access to VueChain and its DApps, such as the issuance platform, VueSwap, and VueStarter.
• Secure VueChain: VUE tokens are used as the gatekeeper and the ticket to the security mechanism, enhancing stability and security through staking and restaking mechanisms.
• Payment for SGA: VUE tokens facilitate payments for accessing advanced Social Graph Analytics tools, providing detailed insights for users and applications.
• Access VueStarter: Users can pledge VUE tokens to join and support projects on VueStarter, the community-driven launchpad.
• Social Token Liquidity: VUE provides and incentivizes liquidity for social tokens within the ecosystem, increasing their usability and value.
• Treasury Sharing: VUE holders can stake tokens to share in the community treasury, earning rewards and contributing to the ecosystem's growth.
