On February 11, 2022, Digital Euro Association (DEA) announced its partnership with Ripple to specially work on central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). Ripple has recently developed a blockchain-based infrastructure to support CBDCs. By this partnership, Ripple will be able to expand its work in the CBDC area and help DEA on global solutions for CBDCs through its blockchain and crypto technological expertise.
