Temporary suspension of Deposit/Withdrawal service for Klaytn network digital assets due to Klaytn network hardfork

Dear Upbit users,

Due to the hardfork of the Klaytn network, deposit and withdrawal support for Klaytn network digital assets will be suspended from 2024-08-28 (Wed) 18:00 (KST) until the stability of the hardfork is confirmed. This is based on Article 17, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph (a) of the Enforcement Decree of the Act on the Protection of Virtual Asset Users.The resumption of deposits and withdrawals will be announced through this notice at a later date.

[Resumption Schedule]

• We will resume deposit and withdrawal support once the Klaytn network hardfork is completed and stability is confirmed.
  *For assets with trading support terminated, only withdrawal support will be resumed.
• The timing for resuming deposit and withdrawal support for the target digital assets will be updated through this notice.
  *In case of any issues related to the resumption of deposit and withdrawal support, we will inform you through this notice.

[Notes]

• After the suspension of deposit and withdrawal support, if you deposit the corresponding digital assets, it may not be reflected in your Upbit account, and in such cases, recovery may not be possible. Please be aware of this and refrain from depositing after the suspension of deposit and withdrawal support.
• During the suspension period of deposit and withdrawal support, the process for returning deposits for the corresponding digital assets will be temporarily suspended and will be sequentially processed after the resumption of deposit and withdrawal support.
• In case of deposit and withdrawal suspension, delays in deposit processing may occur due to network congestion, and there may be differences between the completion of blockchain network transactions and the reflection of deposits.
• Although deposits and withdrawals may occur in some blockchain networks before or after the suspension period, normal processing may not be possible during the maintenance period depending on the status of our wallet system. Processing will be sequentially carried out after the maintenance is completed, so there may be delays in reflecting the processing in user accounts.
