Binance Updates Spot Liquidity Provider Program (2024-09-09)

Fellow Binancians,

As Binance conducts regular reviews of its programs to provide users with the most value and competitive services, Binance will be updating its Spot Liquidity Provider Program effective from 2024-09-09 00:00 (UTC).

Key Highlights:

1. The Weekly Maker Volume Percentage Requirement benchmark of Tier 4 will be updated from 2.0% to 1.0%.

2. A new qualification path will be introduced to the program, an account can be qualified as Tier 1 by reaching 25,000,000 USD equivalent in Weekly Maker Volume or by reaching the 0.05% Weekly Maker Volume Percentage Requirement.

3. The Maker Fee (Rebate) ratio of Tier 4 will be updated from -0.01% to -0.008%

4. The trial period for new participants who joined via Manual Application will be extended from three weeks to four weeks.

5. The new qualification requirement and trial setting changes will take effect from 2024-09-09 00:00 UTC.

6. The new Maker Fee (Rebate) ratio change will take effect from 2024-09-17 00:00 UTC.

How to Participate:

• Automatic Participation: Users with Weekly Maker Volume that equals or exceeds Tier 1 requirements of the Binance Spot Liquidity Provider Program are automatically enrolled.

• Manual Application (trial period): Users whose current 30-day Maker Volume has not met Tier 1 requirements, but has a trading volume of over 20,000,000 USD equivalent on Binance Spot market can apply for a trial period of four weeks, where the users will enjoy Tier 1 maker fee rebates during this period. Please email mmprogram@binance.com or contact your Key Account Coverage or sales to provide proof to apply for the trial.

Terms and Conditions:

• This program is limited to the spot and margin pairs listed on Binance.com.

• Participants whose account performance does not qualify them for any eligible program tier for three consecutive weeks will be removed from the program.

• Binance reserves the right to disqualify any participants who tamper with Binance program code, or interfere with the operation of Binance program code with other software.

• Binance reserves the right to disqualify user’s reward eligibility if the account is involved in any dishonest behavior (e.g., wash trading, illegally bulk registered accounts, self dealing, or market manipulation).

• Binance reserves the right to determine and/or amend or vary these Terms and Conditions, its eligibility terms and criteria, the selection and number of winners, and the timing of any act to be done at its sole discretion for any reason, including:

  • Changes in applicable regulations or policies;

  • Obligations arising out of law or decisions issued by common courts or public administration;

  • Anti-money laundering or combating financing terrorism rules;

  • Technical issues beyond our control;

  • Necessity to protect users from potential losses;

  • Necessity to protect Binance from the loss of reputation;

  • Extraordinary events or circumstances beyond our control (force majeure).
