Binance Will Add Velodrome Finance (VELODROME) on Earn, Buy Crypto, Convert, Margin & Futures

Binance is excited to announce that Velodrome Finance (VELODROME) will be added to Binance Simple Earn, "Buy Crypto", Binance Convert, Binance Margin, Binance Auto-Invest, and Binance Futures at the respective dates and timings listed below.

Earn

• VELODROME Flexible Products listed on Binance Simple Earn at 2024-12-13 14:00 (UTC) and is available for subscription.

• From 2024-12-16 10:00 (UTC), users may purchase VELODROME using any of the payment options supported on Binance Auto-Invest.

Buy & Sell Crypto

Users can buy VELODROME with VISA, MasterCard, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or buy and sell VELODROME with their wallet balances on the “Buy Crypto” page, available within one hour of VELODROME being listed on Binance Spot. 

Convert

Users will be able to start trading VELODROME against BTC, USDT, and any other tokens on Binance Convert at zero fees within one hour of VELODROME being listed on Binance Spot. 

Margin

Binance Margin will add VELODROME as a new borrowable asset on Cross and Isolated Margin, as well as the VELODROME/USDT pair on Cross and Isolated Margin at 2024-12-13 16:00 (UTC).

Binance VIP 7 to VIP 9 users will be able to borrow the abovementioned asset(s) on Cross Margin approximately 30 minutes before it is open for Margin trading. 

Note: 

• Interest is charged on these loans even though margin trading for these tokens has not commenced. Please note that newly listed tokens tend to be volatile; users are encouraged to adopt stringent risk management strategies when trading such tokens.

• Please refer to Margin Data for a list of the most updated marginable assets and further information on specific limits, collateral ratio and rates.

Futures

Binance Futures will launch the USDⓈ-M VELODROME Perpetual Contract at 2024-12-13 16:15 (UTC), with up to 75x leverage.

Please Note: 

• The maximum funding rate of the VELODROMEUSDT Perpetual Contract at the time of launch is 2.00% / -2.00%.

• The funding fee settlement frequency is every four hours.

• Based on market risk conditions, Binance may adjust the specifications of the VELODROMEUSDT Perpetual Contract from time to time, which include the funding fee, tick size, maximum leverage, initial margin, and/or maintenance margin requirements.

• Multi-Assets Mode allows users to trade the VELODROMEUSDT Perpetual Contract across multiple margin assets, subject to the applicable haircuts. For example, when the Multi-Assets Mode is activated, users can use BTC as margin when trading the VELODROMEUSDT Perpetual Contract. 

• The VELODROMEUSDT Perpetual Contract is subject to the Binance Terms of Use and the Binance Futures Service Agreement.
