Bitfinex to Delist 18 Trading Pairs and 2 Perpetual Swaps

Bitfinex will delist 18 trading pairs and 2 perpetual swaps. The removal of these pairs will serve to consolidate and improve liquidity on Bitfinex, leading to a more streamlined and optimised trading experience for our customers.

The 18 trading pairs listed below will cease trading from 22/08/2024 at 10:00 AM UTC:

• The following tokens against Bitcoin (BTC): Algorand (ALGO/BTC), Cosmos (ATOM/BTC), JUST (JST/BTC), Decentraland (MANA/BTC) and NEO (NEO/BTC)
• The following token against Tether USD (USDt): Balancer (BAL/USDt), APENFT (NFT/USDt), Origin Protocol (OGN/USDt), Pax Dollar (PAX/USDt), Wilder World (WILD/USDt) and Terra (LUNA2/USDt)
• The following tokens against Tether Euro (EURt): Bitcoin (BTC/EURt), Ethereum (ETH/EURt), and Pound Sterling (GBP/EURt)
• The following tokens against Ethereum (ETH): EOS (EOS/ETH), OMG Network (OMG/ETH), and TRON (TRX/ETH)
• The following token against Tether Mexican Peso (MXNt): Tether Euro (EURt/MXNt)

From 16/08/2024 at 10:00 AM UTC, customers will only be able to reduce their open positions in the margin pairs BTC/EURt, EOS/ETH, ETH/EURt and NEO/BTC. We would like to remind our customers to cancel any open orders in the above trading pairs before 22/08/2024 (Thursday). All remaining open orders will be cancelled by the system, and we will force settle all open margin positions on 22/08/2024.

Please note that the underlying tokens have not been delisted and are still available for trading on Bitfinex against other assets.

Further, Bitfinex will delist the Kyber Network Crystal (KNCF0:USTF0) and Solana/Bitcoin (SOLF0:BTCF0) perpetual swaps on Thursday, 22/08/2024, at 10:00 AM UTC. The removal of these perpetual swaps follows our regular monitoring of market conditions to ensure the best trading experience for our customers. 

From 16/08/2024 at 10:00 AM UTC, customers will only be able to reduce their open positions in the perpetual swaps KNC-PERP (KNCF0:USTF0) and SOL/BTC-PERP (SOLF0:BTCF0). 

We would like to remind our customers to cancel any open orders on KNC-PERP (KNCF0:USTF0) and SOL/BTC-PERP (SOLF0:BTCF0) before 22/08/2024 at 10:00 AM UTC. Any open positions that are not closed by this deadline will be force-settled and orders cancelled by the system. The mark price used to settle contracts will be the fair market value of the underlying spot market based on data from several leading exchanges.
