Bitfinex Completes Bitget (BGB) Token Swap and Resumes BGB Trading, Deposits & Withdrawals

Further to our announcement in July 2024 to temporarily suspend trading, deposits and withdrawals of BGB tokens ahead of a planned token swap, we are pleased to announce that the BGB token swap is now complete, with a new version of the token replacing the old token on a 1:1 ratio. The new token will trade under the existing BGB ticker.

Following completion of the token swap, trading, deposits, and withdrawals for the new BGB token resumed on 02/09/2024 at approximately 10:00 AM UTC.

Please note that the old BGB token will no longer be supported on our platform.
