Bitfinex Enables Deposits and Withdrawals for Tether USD (USDt) on Aptos (APT)

We're pleased to announce that Bitfinex customers can deposit and withdraw Tether USD (USDt) using the Aptos (APT) transport layer, effective 01:00 PM UTC on 28/10/2024. 

This new feature follows the integration of USDt onto Aptos, a Layer 1 blockchain built by the Web3 infrastructure firm Aptos Labs that aims to be an industry leader in security and high-speed transaction processing.

Following this latest integration, Bitfinex customers are now able to deposit USDt across 19 blockchains and withdraw USDt across 15 blockchains*. This includes Algorand, Avalanche, Bitcoin Cash's Simple Ledger Protocol (SLP), Ethereum, EOS, Liquid Network, Omni, Polygon, Polygon zkEVM, Tezos, Tron, Solana, Polkadot, Kusama, the Near Network, Kava, Celo, The Open Network and now, Aptos. 

* Withdrawals of USDt on Kusama, Bitcoin Cash SLP, EOS and Omni Layer blockchains are no longer being supported as of 01/09/2023. See the full announcement here.

The APT token is also available to trade on Bitfinex against USD and USDt.
