A Charitable Christmas, Walking Together with Children: Gate Charity Supports Underprivileged Orphans in Benin with Love and Care

Christmas is a time for family reunions and enjoying moments of happiness. However, for many underprivileged children, this special day often lacks the warmth and joy of receiving gifts that they deserve.

On Christmas Eve (December 21, 2024), Gate Charity, in collaboration with the Lions International District 403 A4, hosted an unforgettable “Christmas Fun Day” event for over 250 orphans living in difficult circumstances in Cotonou, Benin. The event aimed to spread happiness, promote inclusivity, strengthen community bonds, and bring much-needed joy, hope, and festive spirit to the children.

This heartwarming event featured a variety of creative activities, including entertaining games, song and dance performances, circus acts, and a visit from “Santa Claus.” Additionally, nutritious and delicious meals were provided to ensure all the children had the energy to fully enjoy the festive moments.

The highlight of the event was the arrival of Santa Claus, who distributed gifts to all the children, adding a magical and heartwarming touch to the celebration.
