KuCoin Will Support the Klaytn (KLAY) Network Upgrade and Hard Fork

Dear KuCoin Users,

KuCoin will support the Klaytn (KLAY) network upgrade and hard fork.

The arrangements are as follows:

1. The Klaytn (KLAY) network upgrade and hard fork will take place at block height 162,900,480, estimated at 2024-08-29 1:29 (UTC).

2. Due to the Klaytn (KLAY) network upgrade and hard fork, we have decided to suspend the deposit and withdrawal services for Klaytn (KLAY).

3. The deposit and withdrawal services of Klaytn (KLAY) will be suspended at 9:00 on August 28, 2024 (UTC). We strongly recommend not to deposit and withdraw until the upgrade is complete.

Please note:

1. The network upgrade and hard fork will not affect the trading of Klaytn (KLAY).

2. The Klaytn (KLAY) network upgrade and hard fork will not result in new tokens being created.

3. In this upgrade, the Finschia (FNSA) tokens will merge into the new Klaytn (KLAY) tokens at a ratio of 1 FNSA : 148.079656 KLAY.

4. After the upgrade, Klaytn (KLAY) will be rebranded to KAIA (KLAY).

As the market for KLAY may experience significant fluctuations after the merger, we strongly advise users to be aware of the associated risks and exercise caution.

Regarding further developments on when these services will be restored, we will not notify users in a further announcement.
