Temporary Suspension of EGLD Deposits/Withdrawals due to Network Upgrade (11/21 19:00 ~)

Dear Upbit users,

The Network Upgrade of EGLD Protocol(EGLD) is scheduled to take place, and from 2024-11-21(Thu) 19:00 (KST), support for deposits and withdrawals will be suspended until the stability of the hard fork is fully confirmed (updated later through this notice.) (Article 17, Paragraph 1, Items A of the Enforcement Decree of the Act on the Protection of Virtual Asset Users)

• Deposits/withdrawals will resume after confirming the stability of EGLD Network Upgrade.
• The time of resuming withdrawals/deposits will be updated through this announcement.*Any unexpected events regarding the resumption of withdrawals/deposits will be notified through this announcement.

[Notes]

• If you attempt to deposit EGLD after deposit/withdrawal have been suspended, the deposit amount may not be reflected in your Upbit account. The amount may not be restorable. Please refrain from depositing EGLD during the suspension.
• During the deposit/withdrawal suspension period, the return process for the following digital asset will be temporarily suspended. The return process will resume in sequential order after the resumption of deposits/withdrawals.
• Deposits may be delayed after the deposit/withdrawal suspension due to network congestion, etc and there might be a difference between the completion of blockchain network transaction confirmation and the actual deposit reflection.
• Deposits/withdrawals may occur in some blockchain networks before or after the suspension. The deposit/withdrawal will not be processed during the announced maintenance period and once the maintenance is completed, the deposit/withdrawal will be processed in sequential order.

• Even when the withdrawals/deposits of EGLD are temporarily suspended, there will be no problem for trading EGLD.
• To protect your asset safely, Upbit will work closely with EGLD Protocol Team. Any additional or alternative events will be notified through this announcement.
