On February 15, 2022, UNCB announced a partnership with Fantom. The Fantom Foundation will be a principal sponsor of UNCB, helping UNCB to educate students on blockchain technologies and cryptocurrencies.

Moving forward, solidity workshops hosted by UNCB will be taught on the Fantom Testnet, encouraging potential developers to utilize FTM as an alternative layer-1 blockchain for their projects. Furthermore, Fantom is pleased to sponsor UNCB’s metaverse/gaming based hackerton which will be launching in the latter part of the year, as well as a myriad of other educational lectures and panels featuring industry talents.
