How to Claim Your Core DAO Airdrop

On February 8th the first airdrop of CORE tokens will be enabled. This is a detailed guide on how to claim your airdrop, both for claiming via browser and mobile.

NOTICE:
Ahead of claiming your airdrop, make sure you have added the network to your MetaMask wallet. For detailed instructions please refer to the Add Core to MetaMask guide.

How to Claim Your Core DAO Airdrop via BROWSER

Once you successfully added the Core network to your wallet, please head to the official homepage of Core DAO.

On the top right side you can choose the "Airdrop" option.
This will open a sidebar in which you have to choose your country of permanent residence.

The website will automatically select a country connected to your ip. If it shows the correct country please confirm with the "Confirm" button.

If the automatically detected country is not your country of residence, please use the drop down next to the country displayed to see the whole list of countries and choose your country of residence.

After choosing the correct country you’ll be directly transferred to the next step.

In the next step, you need to connect your wallet.

Choose the displayed option, the MetaMask wallet.
Once you select the MetaMask option, the "Connect" button is enabled.

Once you click the "Connect" button, you will connect your wallet to the page to claim your CORE tokens.
If you are not already on the Core Mainnet network, a pop up window from your MetaMask wallet will open up and ask you to switch networks.

Please note that the snapshots are taken in a trial phase on Testnet — for you it should say Mainnet.

Click "Switch network" to confirm connecting to Core Mainnet.

If you are already connected to Core Mainnet, you only have to confirm connecting to the side by pressing the "Connect" button.

After that you should jump directly to the view of the Vesting Schedule.

Please make sure that the wallet address displayed is the same as the one that you linked in your Satoshi App account.
You will see your total amount of CORE, as well as the amount that is available to claim now.

Click the "Claim" button to proceed.

Please note that the snapshots were taken in a trial phase on Testnet.

Every user will get up to 0.1 CORE sent to their wallet ahead of the enabling of the Airdrop to cover the gas fees.

Please note that the network could be congested during the time you claim your tokens. This most likely will be due to the fact that a high number of users are trying to claim the Airdrop at the same time.
Please consider one of the two below options:

1. If you want your claim transaction to be confirmed sooner, you might raise your gas price.
2. If you want to avoid high gas fees try to claim your airdrop at a less busy time.

There is also the option of choosing a different rpc url, as already mentioned in the beginning. The available ones are:

• https://rpc.coredao.org
• https://core.public.infstones.com
• https://core.positron.network
• https://core.nodeproviders.com

Click on "Confirm" in your MetaMask to claim your tokens.

Once you have claimed your token you will be sent back to the original view of the homepage.
If you click on the airdrop option once more you will be able to see the date on which you will be able to claim the next batch of tokens.

How to Claim Your Core DAO Airdrop via MOBILE

Open your MetaMask app and make sure you are connected to the Core Mainnet.

Go to the browser within the MetaMask app and to the Core DAO homepage.

Once you are on the Core DAO homepage, choose the "Airdrop" option on the top right.

Next you have to choose your country of permanent residence.

The website will automatically select a country connected to your ip. If it shows the correct country please confirm with the "Confirm" button.

If the automatically detected country is not your country of residence, please use the drop down next to the country displayed to see the whole list of countries and choose your country of residence.

After choosing the correct country you’ll be directly transferred to the next step.

Once it shows the correct country, please confirm with the "Confirm" button.
