What Is Boba Network?
Boba is a compute-focused Layer 2 (L2) solution built on top of the Layer 1 blockchain, Ethereum and BNB Chain. Ethereum is similar to L1 blockchains like Avalanche, BNB, and Moonbeam, and acts as a base blockchain platform that executes all on-chain transactions. Boba scales and augments the core compute capabilities of Ethereum/BNB Chain, reducing gas fees and improving transaction throughput - while retaining the security guarantees of its underlying network.
