  • The token merger is now in effect, with the Gnosis Chain renaming underway. During the transition you may see the chain referred to as xDai Chain or Gnosis Chain. The underlying chain functionality is not impacted by this merger. STAKE staking will continue for ~6 months, however STAKE can be swapped now for GNO.

Gnosis Stable Chain

The Gnosis chain is a stable payments EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) blockchain designed for fast and inexpensive transactions. The chain uses a unique dual-token model; xDai is a stable token used for transactions, payments, and fees, and STAKE currently supports the underlying POSDAO Proof-of Stake consensus. The PoS protection model will change once the Gnosis Beacon Chain is Implemented, and GNO will protect the chain.
