A New Season — SolFarm is now Tulip Protocol

Hello friends, today we announce a new season! SolFarm will be rebranding to Tulip Protocol, which includes the release of our new home page.

SolFarm was initially launched in April amongst a few friends in the DeFi space. The original name came from an abbreviation of "Solana Farming Protocol" or "SolFarm". The project grew from an experimental protocol with 5 vaults to a one stop DeFi destination hosting over 40 active vaults, 700MM+ in TVL, a lending function with 200MM+ in TVL, and leveraged farming. As the project continues to grow, we decided we need a new name to grow with our brand.

As you all know, our native token is $TULIP. It is a play on the Tulip bubble in Europe in the Middle Ages and also the fact that cryptocurrencies have often been referred to as a Tulipmania bubble by outsiders. Tulip fields are also a beautiful sight when raised with care and effort by its farmers. With these themes and the strong brand awareness around our token, we have decided "Tulip Protocol" would be the perfect tie in between the dApp and the token. The homepage has been redesigned with the rebrand to now contain stats about our protocol along with short explainers of it’s different functions. We will slowly roll out updates for the rest of the protocol UI.
