Immutable X(IMX) Closure of Immutable X Marketplace
Immutable XImmutable has recently announced the closure of its Immutable X Marketplace beginning on August 13 with the site ceasing operations entirely by September 27.
The Immutable Marketplace was initially launched to demonstrate the capabilities of the Immutable SDK and is now redirecting focus towards supporting third-party marketplaces rather than maintaining its own trading platform.
What is Immutable X Marketplace?
Immutable X Marketplace is a gas-free platform designed to facilitate the trading of NFTs and other digital assets, leveraging the StarkEx Layer 2 scaling solution on Ethereum.
The platform supported various games and digital collectibles and has gained popularity for its eco-friendly approach and partnership with various gaming projects, including Gods Unchained, Guild of Guardians, Cross the Ages, and many more.
The platform was initially built as a showcase of features that are available to developers via the Immutable SDK.
