Fellow Binancians,

Binance will perform a scheduled system upgrade starting at 2024-10-08 06:00 (UTC). The upgrade will take approximately 15 minutes.

Major improvements in this upgrade include:

• Overall system performance and stability improvements.

During the upgrade period, users can continue to place new Spot, Futures, and Options orders, cancel existing orders, and access all Binance products as usual. However, certain services and functionalities will be impacted during the upgrade, including:

• Impacted services:

  • Crypto deposits and withdrawals;

  • Opening new positions on Spot Copy Trading;

  • Opening new positions on Spot and Futures Trading Bots;

  • All account transfer functions, i.e. asset transfers from sub-accounts, Margin Accounts, Futures Accounts, Options Accounts, Pool Accounts, and Fiat Wallets;

  • Trading, borrowing, and repaying functions on Cross Margin, Isolated Margin, and Portfolio Margin;

  • Ongoing liquidations on Binance Margin may be interrupted during the scheduled upgrade time, and will resume after the upgrade is complete;

  • Spot referral and Liquidity Provider rebates will not be distributed to users’ accounts during the upgrade. Rebates incurring during the upgrade will credited to users after the upgrade is complete;

  • Binance Bridge in Web3 Wallet.

• Impacted transferring services:

  • P2P trading;

  • Convert and OTC Portal trading;

  • Auto-Invest;

  • Convert Low-Value Assets to BNB;

  • Crypto purchases with cards;

  • Fiat deposits and withdrawals;

  • Fiat Buy and Sell Crypto;

  • Subscription and redemption of Earn Products;

  • Loans services;

  • Pay transactions.

Please Note:

• Binance will suspend all deposit and withdrawal services 5 minutes before the scheduled system upgrade time. Users should leave sufficient time for any deposits and withdrawals to be credited before this time. Deposits and withdrawals will resume after the system upgrade is completed.

• Users with open Futures or Margin positions are recommended to reassess their collateral balances before the start of the upgrade to mitigate against price fluctuations that may occur during the upgrade period.

• The 15-minute upgrade time is based on our best estimates and may vary. We will update in this announcement when the system upgrade is completed.
